Dentro del marco de la aprobación de un Código Penal sin las causales, la Fundación Friedrich Ebert realizó el estreno virtual de un conjunto de obras sobre este tema basadas en hechos de la vida real.
La trilogía titulada “Mabel, Nancy y Miguelina: Las tres causales con nombre propio”, presenta relatos sobre cada una de las causales, en donde la vida, la dignidad y la salud de las mujeres es amenazada.
El objetivo de la Fundación Ebert es proporcionar herramientas pedagógicas que sirvan para impulsar un cambio social y concientizar sobre la importancia de la inclusión de las tres causales en el Código Penal.
El evento contó con la participación de la directora de Teatro Alternativo, Lorena Oliva, quien dio vida a las obras y la comunicadora, feminista y activista social, Natalia Mármol, reconocida por su activismo en la Marcha Verde y el movimiento RD 3 Causales.
Durante su intervención, Oliva explico sobre el proceso creativo de las obras y la relevancia de presentar este tipo de relatos, “este tipo de teatro tiene un fin social, busca acompañar cambios sociales, visibilizar minorías y abogar por el cumplimiento de los derechos.”
Natalia Mármol por su parte, felicito la iniciativa de poner un foco en lo que normalmente ocurre en la clandestinidad, “estas historias se convierten en discursos, en argumentos, en razones para nosotras y nosotros seguir perdiendo el miedo de alzar la voz y poner un paso al frente y motivarnos para seguirnos articulándonos alrededor de la defensa de esta causa” añadió.
Además, la activista lamento que la Cámara de Diputados aprobara en segunda lectura el proyecto de Código Penal excluyendo las tres causales. “Esto significa darle la espalda a una gran parte de la sociedad dominicana, es desconocer derechos fundamentales y derechos constitucionales, es un paso en reversa”.
El reparto de las obras estuvo compuesto por las actrices Mariel Sanción, Paloma Palacio, Alondra Gonzalez y Daniela Minyetti, quienes no solo se destacan por su profesionalismo, sino también por ser activistas.
Las obras que habían sido presentadas anteriormente en el campamento de las tres causales, estarán disponibles en el canal de Youtube de la Fundación Friedrich Ebert en el Caribe.
